The cycle kit consists of live bacteria cultured and bottled on order with a bottle of ammonia just enough to kick start your nitrogen cycle, which is essential for your aquarium to be habitable.
The cycle usually takes only 1-2 weeks before it is safe to add livestock.
make sure to test parameters before adding livestock to ensure a safe habit for them.
continue using Bacto-seed for at least 1 month to make sure all the live stock added and the waste added doesn’t affect the bioload of your newly cycling aquarium.
we recommend adding mix pods and phytoplankton after 2 weeks to make sure you are creating the perfect ecosystem for your fish and corals.
Instructions:
dose all the ammonia in the tank, turn off the skimmer for 1 day, and turn back on the following day, add the bacteria according to the amount you need. Tank will go cloudy for a few days 3-4days Max while the bacteria starts blooming and after 4 days it should settle and have much more stable growth leaving the water crystal clear.
make sure your temperature is at 24-25°C as this is perfect for growing these strains of bacteria.
Bacto-seed is 10ml per 100L of aquarium water, but start your first dose with 30ml max and then add every second day for 2 weeks Bacto-seed and then with every water change or new addition to the tank.
