Product Description

Mix Pods is a powerful live blend of Amphipods (shrimp-like crustaceans) and Tisbe
Copepods, perfect for jumpstarting biodiversity in a new or established reef tank.
Whether you’re seeding a new system or enriching an existing one, this mix offers both
a sustainable live food source and essential biological filtration.

Why Choose Mix Pods?

Ideal for New Tank Seeding: Rapidly boosts your copepod population and microfauna
diversity.

Natural Clean-Up Crew: Amphipods and Tisbe pods burrow into sandbeds and live rock,
removing detritus and uneaten food.

Parasite Prevention: Reduces detritus build-up, which can interrupt the life cycle of
parasites like Ich , worms, and harmful bacteria.

Supports Coral & Fish Health: These pods are an excellent live food source for picky
eaters like mandarins, seahorses, pipefish, and small wrasses.

Instructions for Use

Acclimation: Float the sealed bottle in your tank for 30 minutes to match water
temperature.
Main Tank: Best released at night when fish are less active.
Refugium or Sump: Can be added any time of day.
After Release: Switch off pumps and wave makers for 20 minutes to let the pods settle.
Feeding: Use pod feed regularly to maintain a thriving population.

Shelf Life

Lasts up to 5 days at room temperature. For best results, store with the cap slightly
open to promote oxygen exchange.

  1. Ethan

Mix pods are a good food source for your picky eaters such as your copperband butterfly fish and mandarins. In addition, they also act as vital part of your reef ecosystem feeding on detritus and algae. I highly recommend the product for a healthy reef tank.
